To clearly define you service offering, a consultant starts with their Point of View.  

Having a solid and well-articulated Point of View is one of the most valuable assets of a consultant.  

A Point of View and helps a client see inside of you. It tells a story as to how you help your clients achieve what they want to achieve. There is a(n) 

  • Beginning, the problems of the client, 
  • Middle, what you do to help them along their journey, and 
  • End, the solution with results and benefits the client wants to achieve. 


It is a consultant’s DIFFERENTIATOR.  A Point of View helps a consultant STAND OUT in a crowded field of consultants and highlights a consultant’s uniqueness. 

A Point of View explains strategically how you resolve your clients’ problems and provide overall value.

A Point of View isn’t rigid but flexible. As a consultant dives down into their Point of View, they create a Methodology or Framework that identifies possible paths that a client can take to achieve success. The Methodology becomes the basis for a consultant’s Service Offering, the tactics.
